Today on Day 3 of World Immunisation Week, we’re talking about vaccines given during pregnancy.
If you’re pregnant you can have vaccines that help protect both you and your baby.
These vaccines protect against diseases like flu, COVID-19, RSV, and whooping cough (pertussis), they are safe to have during pregnancy and help protect your baby in the first few weeks of life before they can have their own.
It’s a simple, effective way to keep you both healthy. Talk to your midwife or GP to find out more, or visit Vaccinations in pregnancy – NHS.
Supporting you and your baby every step of the way. #WorldImmunisationWeek #PublicHealthSouthTees
