Change of Clinical System – Update 21st Sept

📣Today, Monday 21st September, marks the last time entries can be made into a patient’s medical record on our current clinical system and subsequently automatically be carried across to our new system.
During this time, we will operate on an urgent only basis, please call the practice and one of our clinical team will triage your urgent problem. Any other non urgent problems can be sent via e-consult from 1st October.
There may be some hiccups, but we would like to thank everyone for their patience during the changeover. Our plans are then to return appointment to ‘normal’ and full details will follow.
📲We would like to make a plea to all our patients with mobile telephones. Please would you make sure we have your current mobile number on file and that you have consented to recieve messages. We know that we all recieve multiple messages these days in various formats, but we will only be trying to let you all know about services and care specific to you or if there is a problem with our phone system etc.
We can also send documents such as fit notes, referral paperwork and letters for housing all via SMS text. Whilst we also will be updating our website and Facebook page with the same information most of the time, it is much more time efficient and straightforward for us to use text messages. This allows us to build in automatic replies that you can do by clicking ‘yes’ or ‘no’ etc. This will code your response in your medical record and will stop further communications. Saved time for us means more staff available on the phones and reduced telephone waiting times.
Thank you.
